Description: 

Christian study center centrally in Värmland forests, meadows and lakes. Accommodation for both individuals and groups. Groups can choose full board or self-catering. Chapel on the farm where we have daily devotions. Possibility to rent boat.

LOCATION:
Sörgården located near woods and meadows and has a lovely view of the lake Klaxsjön. From the chapel's altar window looks out over the meadow and forest. The farm is situated between Karlstad and Arvika (Klässbols and Råcksta Museum), and the Sunne (with Ski Sunne and Rottneros) is about 35 km. Torsby Ski Tunnel is about 10 mil. Closer at hand are Kil-Apertins ravines and gullies, as well Rensta-gig and Klaxkullen, all very natural fine hiking sites. 500 m from the farm are the nearest bus stop, the railway station in Kil is 9 km.

FACILITY:
The rooms in the hostel standard, with showers and toilets shared with more room. One room has its own toilet and shower. Self-catering kitchen available, as well as 2 less kökspentryn. Single and double rooms as well as dormitories. Summertime we also rent out our "log cabin" - a little easier accommodation in a cozy building, own kitchen. Conferences: There is a conference room for up to 20 pieces of flipchart and whiteboard, and the ability to 3-4 group rooms.

EXPERIENCES:
In our chapels we have daily devotions, and it can also be rented for groups. Nice walking paths, close to the forest and close to the lake with a beach. Boat rental and fishing possibilities available. In our "creative workshop" have the opportunity to own creation. Close day trips are KILSRAVINERNA, Apertins ravines, Renstad-gig, Boltzius-Home and Klaxkullen. Slightly longer trips are Karlstad Värmland Museum and IKEA, Sunne, Rottneros and Lagerlof Marbacka, Arvika Racksta Museum and Klässbols Linneväveri.
